Welcome

People will recover and cities will flourish when we, as followers of Jesus, join hands together. In unity, together we will bring the value of God's Kingdom, based on the love of Jesus, to every place of influence. This was the image that Ludwig received and laid the first foundation for the adventure that we embarked on together. In 2010, we responded to the calling that God gave us and started dedicating ourselves full-time to this mission. We founded Love & Impact for this purpose. Because everyone deserves an encounter with Jesus, so everyone is needed!

My heart is set on giving everyone a living encounter with Jesus. From my previous work as a police officer I saw the hardness and brokenness of the society in which we live. God invites you and me to express His love in cooperation with Him in every place where we have influence. And this in the way that He made us, from a daily lifestyle. My desire is that the church will move passionately and take its place in society, so that God's love and the power of His kingdom will be seen again. That is why I lead this beautiful organization daily with much passion and pleasure.

Because there is no day as beautiful as a day when you have seen God at work!

My story

I grew up in a broken home. When I was three years old, my parents came to faith radically after God intervened. This literally saved our family! After this, I grew up in a safe Christian home. My father was an evangelist, church leader and church planter. During my youth, I attended many evangelical churches and supported my father in planting a church.

At the age of sixteen, I decided to dedicate my life completely to Jesus, after having a living encounter with Him during a mission trip with our youth group in Poland.

In 1998 I married Heike, who went to the Assembly of Believers in Eindhoven. Together we served for many years in the evangelical church that my father had founded. We had three children and later joined Heike's home church, 'De Bron' in Eindhoven.

I worked as a police officer for eleven years. It was there that I truly saw how depraved people's lives can be and how great the need really is.

Out of a growing love for God and people, I began to pray for people while working for the police. This was the early beginning in which I began to see that God had a special calling on my life.

In 2010 I quit my job at the police and together with my wife Heike I founded the ministry ‘Crowns’. In the early stages of this ministry I went to work in a youth center in Eindhoven. I visited young people hanging around on the streets to share something of the love of Jesus with them.

Soon the young people from the church joined in to help me and many young people came to faith.

I discovered that when we reach out to those around us from God's love and a lifestyle as He intended us to live, we can be a light to them. From the power of God's Kingdom, this has a huge impact on people, truly changing lives.

I learned that impacting the lives of others is possible for each of us as followers of Jesus. It is even a mission! From this discovery I started the training Love & Impact develop, that mobilizes people to be a witness of Jesus for their direct environment every day, in a way that suits them. I started coaching people to train others in their own local church in this and help churches grow into a new culture, so that they can reach their environment together as a congregation.

My heart is set on building the church of Christ with a long-term vision of the future. Because it takes everyone to reach everyone!

Invite me

When I started ministry in 2010 and was increasingly invited to speak in churches, I decided to always say ‘yes’ to this request. I decided to do this because I was afraid to say ‘no’ to the request out of fear.

Slowly my confidence in speaking began to grow and grew into a desire to inspire people. Now I can say that I find speaking one of the most enjoyable things to do. My speaking is characterized by my enthusiasm, vulnerability and encouragement to live as Jesus lived. I love God's church and therefore want to build lasting relationships with a vision for the future, in which we may see His body grow.
