People are longing for an encounter with Jesus. God wants to use us as a church for this! We often leave this great need and great task to that handful of evangelists from our churches. As a leader, you think from your own vision: "Evangelization is one of our spearheads that we give substance to through activities that the evangelists shape." This idea is too limited to get the entire church moving and to reach the city.

Do you have the desire that your entire congregation will be led from a lifestyle a witness to your entire environment? From the way that suits each of you personally, but also the church culture? Are you as leaders looking for more knowledge, experience, broadening and help in this? It is so different and so much more than just 'evangelism'.

While discipleship training is often focused on internal growth and evangelism training is mainly focused on practical evangelism on the street, Love & Impact combines the best of both worlds.

The Love & Impact training mobilizes church members. Enables them to step over their own “challenges” to be a daily witness of Jesus from a lifestyle in a way that suits them.

But this Love & Impact training does not stand alone. It is a course in collaboration with the local church. We work together on cultural change and multiplication within the church in the area of ​​‘witnessing Jesus from a lifestyle.’ The course consists of three elements:

1. Local coaches, from their own church, so that they can provide the training themselves.
2. Love & Impact training for church members;
   1. Taught by the local coaches or
   2. Taught by Love & Impact trainers
3. Leadership culture development towards a more evangelistic and outward-looking church.

Design of the course

Training for everyone

This consists of 10 essentials; 10 evenings + 3 practical moments. We believe in personal in-depth investment in people with a long-term vision. Behavioral change is needed, which requires time investment and personal attention. It is therefore a practically oriented discipleship training that actually mobilizes people. Trained local coaches from our own church (see: 'coaching for upcoming leaders' further on this page) provide the training themselves. They are supported in this by experienced trainers from Love & Impact. It is also possible to have the training given in its entirety by Love & Impact trainers. The subjects: intimacy, identity and authority are three important pillars in the training in which love for God and our neighbor is the motivation. Biblical teaching, group assignments (practice in a safe setting) and home assignments (put into practice in your daily life) are fixed elements in the training. Theory and practice alternate. As a result, participants not only know more, but also discover how God wants to use them and put this into practice in their daily lives. More information about the training and registration.

Community growth for your area

The Love & Impact course, which we will embark on together, is a course of cultural change in your community. “Building and growing together, with a focus on the long term. This requires time and attention! It means that we attach more value to ‘being outwardly focused’. In your personal life, by looking more at others and by shifting the focus from your community from internal to external.

Our goal is to be more focused on the other, the environment and people outside our churches. We work on our inside with the goal that the fruit of this will automatically be seen on the outside with people and the community. Through the right focus and attention from leadership, talking together, teaching the church and implementing the discoveries church-wide, the church will grow into an evangelistic culture. Coaching for group leaders

Reaching our city and country together requires an approach of collaboration and multiplication. Just like we saw Jesus invest in the 12 disciples. That is why we train local coaches, people from your own church. This training enables them to give the Love & Impact training within your own church. This allows the church to continue to grow in this area. We ask for at least two coaches who are intrinsically motivated, want to grow themselves and have the desire to train others. All 10 essentials are covered including practice with a duration of six months. They are coached by our trainers with a lot of attention for each person and his/her personal growth. We support them in the start and progress of the training that they will then give themselves.

Als gemeente in hartje Rotterdam hebben wij het voorrecht gehad om op verschillende manieren samen te werken met Ludwig Swinkels en het Love & Impact-team. In samenwerking met tientallen kerken werden trainingen verzorgd, teams gevormd en mensen de straten van Rotterdam opgestuurd om een liefdevolle getuige te zijn van het goede nieuws!
